Digital Star, the only digital agency awarded with Gold at 2014 PR Award competition

Digital Star won 1 gold and 2 silver trophies at the 2014 Romanian PR Award Gala, held last night, thus becoming the only digital agency which received this type of distinctions. 

 

After being nominated for 3 different campaigns, developed for 3 clients from different industries, Digital Star won 3 awards: The Golden Trophy of the Social Media category, 2 Silver Trophies and 2 new nominations at two other important sections: „PR Innovator of the Year”, „Best Use of PR Evaluation”.  

 

Digital Star’s campaigns were awarded in the following categories:


• Golden Award for Excellence, in the Social Media section, received for the „The first Romanian social catalogue”, developed for Billa Romania;

• The Silver Award for Excellence, at the „Social Responsibly and dialogue with co-interested groups” section, was won with the „Donate from the heart” campaign, elaborated for Avon Cosmetics Romania;

• Silver Award for Excellence, at the „Tech PR” category was won with „The Creativity Manifesto” campaign, developed for Samsung Electronics Romania.

 

The campaigns which entered in the XIIth edition of the Romanian PR Award Competition were evaluated by an international jury formed by top communication specialists from USA, Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Holland, France, Hungary and Romania.

 

In 2014, Digital Star also was designated „Agency of the year” at Internetics Romanian competition and was the most awarded agency at IAB Mixx Awards. In the same year, Digital Star was awarded at Effie Awards for „The Creativity Manifesto” campaign, developed for Samsung Galaxy Note 3.

The Romanian PR Award competition has become the most important event dedicated to the evaluation and recognition of excellency in the Romanian business communication. The competition was established and organized by the Forum for International Communications Foundation, its first edition being held back in 2003.
